Good questions
A little clarity.
Before we begin.
Every piece is different.
We’re always happy to talk yours through.
Is my furniture worth re-upholstering?
A well-made frame, a comfortable shape or a piece with personal meaning can make re-upholstery a lovely choice. Send us photographs and we’ll help you understand the condition, options and likely work involved.
How much will it cost?
It depends on the size, condition, fabric and any repairs or rebuilding needed. We quote for your individual piece, so the best place to start is a few clear photos and approximate dimensions.
Can you quote from photographs?
Usually, yes. Front, side and rear views, plus close-ups of any damage, help us provide an initial estimate. We may need to inspect the furniture before confirming the final specification and price.
How long does the work take?
A full suite will often spend around two to three weeks in the workshop, though detailed or traditional work can take longer. We’ll confirm current availability, fabric lead times and your expected schedule when we quote.
Can you collect and deliver?
Yes, collection and delivery can be arranged. Tell us your postcode and any access details so we can include the arrangements in your quotation. We work across the North East and on projects throughout the UK.
What about cushions and smaller repairs?
We can help with cushion replacements, fillings, repairs and smaller upholstery jobs, as well as complete furniture transformations. Show us what needs attention and we’ll advise on the next step.
